    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it I learned many tools that have been useful to me throughout my high school career

    Course highlights:

AP Calculus is full of shortcuts for algebraic problems. I learned a lot about derivatives and integrals that have become second nature to me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to focus in this class because of all the rules that you must learn. In order to pass this class I would suggest learning helpful tricks for every rule in order to pass this class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I am currently taking Calculus and it is an amazing experience to learn math that is connected to everything such as engineering. Calculus is an important integral in engineering and in majors such as business. If you are willing to work vigorously, you will be able to outwork other people and most importantly, give yourself this knowledge that a lot of people struggle in.

    Course highlights:

I learned cross-sectional volume, a more constructive way of building the unit circle, and my favorite: integration. My teacher, Mr. Toohey, was the best when it comes to giving inspiration and motivation to his students. He treated us as if we were his sons and daughters. I was deeply motivated to complete this course despite the restless nights in order to study.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always study, study, and study! My teacher came in on Wednesday mornings at 6 am just to teach Calculus. Take advantage of tutoring and most importantly, connect with other students. Reach out and don't be afraid to ask for help, because in the end, you're only fooling yourself thinking you know the material when in reality, you don't. Make group chats and participate in study groups.
