    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course for any student who would like to pursure a career in medicine because it engages your critical thinking and takes you into a more in deprh world of biology.

    Course highlights:

This course is vigorous but the highlights are the constant review and critical thinking assignments that help you for the AP exam. I learned how to use the fundamentals of biology in certain scenarios and how to solve problems

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in this course, I recommend a set study time and taking and looking over notes every week. The notes are extremely helpful but also reading the chapters in the textbook. I also recommend group study and discussions on assignments and labs.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The teacher, Ms. Johnston, is an excellent instructor. She knew a lot about the workings of the animal world, and her lessons were fun and interactive.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the videos we sometimes got to watch, and the presentations and projects we did. I learned biological concepts more in depth than I learned in freshman biology.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

When making book notes, get the summaries given at the end of each chapter. Study the notes gotten from the presentations. Most of all, do not stress too much about the AP test at the end of the year.
