Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It’s honestly one of the best courses that you can take as a high school Junior. Mr. Colletta puts so much passion into what he is teaching that it makes you want to work hard to not disappoint him.

    Course highlights:

It was challenging to get an A in this course. But it was also fun to challenge yourself against other classmates. Best of all, at the end of the year, you get to look back at Mr. Colletta’s greatest hits.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn how to manage your time wisely. This course wasn’t homework heavy, but the readings were tedious. Make time every day to do one reading instead of procrastinating. Finally, it’s best to review your guide as you go through it rather than one night before a unit test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because Mr. Colletta was a great teacher especially when it came to explaining. The quizzes he gave us made me understand the lesson even more. I learned more about the FRQ's that we later had to take.

    Course highlights:

I didn't really know much about history. I always thought it was boring, but I learned so much more about the presidents and with slavery. It was something that I really didn't know about until I went into his class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If there is a study guide, make sure to study that, but also from the notes you take or the old quizzes. It isn't hard, but it isn't easy. The book to me, doesn't help at all, but the study guide did.
