    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

APUSH gives students a more in depth view of how the United States came to be as a country. The class helps students become more informed on the intricate history the country.

    Course highlights:

I enjoyed learning about the different wars involved with the USA, inside and outside of the country. Several wars were learned of, which helps show students how the country was shaped into what it is today.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Look up information! If you are given an event or term but your teacher does not explain it, take the time out of your day to look it up yourself! This is important, because when it comes to the AP Test, it is your knowledge alone that you can depend on. The more you understand terms/events, the more you are likely to do better on the AP Test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It’s honestly one of the best courses that you can take as a high school Junior. Mr. Colletta puts so much passion into what he is teaching that it makes you want to work hard to not disappoint him.

    Course highlights:

It was challenging to get an A in this course. But it was also fun to challenge yourself against other classmates. Best of all, at the end of the year, you get to look back at Mr. Colletta’s greatest hits.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Learn how to manage your time wisely. This course wasn’t homework heavy, but the readings were tedious. Make time every day to do one reading instead of procrastinating. Finally, it’s best to review your guide as you go through it rather than one night before a unit test.
