Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really would recommend this class. It was enjoyable and I learned a lot about both marine biology and the world itself.

    Course highlights:

I learned about climate change, technology and Marine biology. Marine biology was simply a large aspect of a class that teaches much more about the world we live in.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to work hard. It is a fun class but it does require dedication. You must be willing to put in the same amount of dedication as Ms.Bernasconi.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it teaches much more than just marine bio. Ms.Bernasconi has taught me about technology, how to identify an individualized learning method, organization and marine biology in relation to the world.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was learning a unique topic such as marine biology along with experimenting learning techniques and technology In order to grasp/retain information. For example we would have to submit Google forms for homework. Each form would have links and videos with questions. Then we would do essays, color coordination techniques and make a Manila folder chart organizer in order to make a myriad of connections in relation to the topic of marine biology. We learned about marine biology but we also learned about ourselves and our learning style.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

You must be open minded. You must walk into the course being prepared to learn much more than marine biology.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a great course! Ms.Bernasconi really interacted with her students well. She listened to her the study needs of her students and changed her approach to help us learn the material as efficiently as possible. I learned how to study in her class. The topics in Marine Biology are unique, interesting and applicable to our life outside the classroom.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about fish anatomy, biodiversity, climate change, seafood and the impact of marine biology on land and other ecosystems. The highlights of this course is that you not only take notes and study for a test, but you learn about how marine biology affects the food you eat and the life you live outside the classroom. You are able to mold yourself in all aspects through this class. I changed my view on the type of fish I eat through the study of the way fish are caught and grown, and its effect on the human body.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this class as a joke. It is not an easy A. You need to walk into the class with an open mind and work ethic. Only then can you be molded into a better learner and succeed in the class. An open mind will help in using various learning techniques to see which works for you and work ethic will help you complete the work quickly and efficiently.
