Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was the most hands on experience I had so far at Full Sail. During this class, we had to undergo a lighting practical. Basically, we had to put our skills to the test and set up a light stand as well as a C-Stand within under four minutes. The pressure was on, however, it truly was a showcase of if you knew what you were doing.

    Course highlights:

As stated previously, we had our big lighting practical during this course. This was my main highlight of the course as it was finally time to put what we had learned to use during class. We had spent plenty of time on set practicing beforehand, but nothing is quite like the adrenaline rush you feel when you're being timed.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

With any course, if you need help - ask your instructor. Don't be afraid to mess up, as it happens. It's all about the recovery, how you make sure people remember the way you fixed the problem, instead of the way the problem occurred in the first place. Most of all, during this course - have fun!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would because it teaches the fundamentals of this major and I learned so much from it. It always will be with me. Knowledge is great.

    Course highlights:

I highlights were learning to do certain projects on my own and taught myself how to follow book directions and complete the assignments.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to figure a lot out by hands on and don't give up. Keep trying until you succeed.
