Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would totally recommend this class! Michael is not only the professor, but the course director and he is very good at his job! I don't consider myself a very steady traditional artist, but Michael constructive criticism helped me overcome my anxiety towards 2D art.

    Course highlights:

This class showed us that art can be both realistic and accurate as well as make belief and playful. We started with simple renders of the human form showing full range of value, and followed it up with creature creation and character creation.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Patience, that's probably the most important thing to keep in mind while taking this course. You may not be able to get it perfect the first try, and that's okay! Keep trying and remain calm, practice makes perfect.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a great class to start developing an eye for detail and identifying what works and doesn't in an image.

    Course highlights:

Anatomy and proportions are key for this.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to draw, a lot. Pay attention to detail.
