    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is great if you want to dive deeper into chemistry. You learn so much more than you do in a normal chemistry class. But the AP course is very vigorous and involves a lot of studying and math. You do get AP credentials, though, if you pass the AP exam. I recommend this class for people who are thinking of pursuing a chemistry degree in college.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about equilibrium. Equilibrium has many parts so this is a must learn in AP chemistry. It is also on the AP test so you need to understand it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely study a lot. It pays off. And do your homework you are given. Do the practice problems your teacher assigns. It will pay off in the end.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Chemistry is a pretty tough course so far. But that does not mean that you cannot do it! It is a very fun class especially the labs that you get to do.

    Course highlights:

I think that the labs you get to do in this course are definitely a strong highlight because you get the hands on experience with the topic you were discussing. You get to mix different chemicals and study the reactions between them.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to do anything involving chemistry it is a good idea to take this course. It is not easy and there will be a lot of studying and work you will have to put in to this class but it is all worth it if you pass the AP exam. Then you can go straight into a higher level chemistry class and be ahead in college.
