    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend the course. It is hard to learn for some, and she teaches differently than some of the other math teachers, but I still learned a lot. She shows everything step by step and gives multiple examples. It is a lot to take in and a lot of home work, but you have plenty of time in class to knock out most of it. The weekly reviews are the hardest part.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to interpret graphs. I no longer have to make a table to know where to plot my points, I can just look at the different elements of the equation and tell you what it is going to look like. She incorporates everything that you learn from day one throughout the whole semester so the information sticks with you. Also, she is a fun teacher. One that is easy to talk to and makes the class vibe really light. She makes things fun and picks your brain at the same time. On Fridays you always have a share day which helps you talk to the other classmates and learn about what is going on in their lives. It gives a nice break for a few minutes allowing people to just relax.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare to take notes. That is the best way to understand the material. Not just the words though. Make sure to include detailed pictures of the graphs because it will help you understand it more when looking back through your notes.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was having to step out of your comfort zone. I learned that if you want to succeed you need to challenge yourself.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

If you want to succeed and have a good grade you have to always do your work.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn Pre-Calculus. It is a great class that covers many topics. It may get hard at times but there is a great teacher and she will help you out.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to graph the many basic functions and transformations, and how to graph sin, cos, and tan.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice would be to do the weekly reviews no matter what. They are a great tool and if you do them correctly they will help your grade.
