Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it helps make you think intellectually about many things. You're not only learn about the English language, but you are taught how to break a story, poem, etc down to find it's deeper meaning.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course is actually when we take the time to break away from the text and connect the meaning to what's happening in the real world. We learned what it means to be human; being human requires feelings.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advice I would give is always pay attention in his class. It's very hard to get a low grade unless it's clear you aren't putting in the effort. Also I would suggest offering to participate because it benefits you and classmates as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It is a great course that really challenges you to expand you mind beyond what you previously thought possible. The class environment is really healthy and compliments the overall content that the class provides.

    Course highlights:

I learned that i still have so much more to learn. With every question that Saxon asked, more questions were raised that led to very interesting debates and conversations. With every piece of literature we read, we applied certain aspects of that literature to our society and culture.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Come into the classroom with the right mindset, and be prepared to participate actively and give your honest viewpoint on pretty much every topic that is brought up, and there will be many. There isn't much outside work, but you must work hard when you get into the classroom.
