Course Overview:
It was a challenging but interesting course that always had me thinking, as well as expanding my knowledge. The math curriculum in this class was very diverse, however it all tied in together in a way that made sense.
Course highlights:
Because this class was a common core class, it was a new way of learning, which was not easy. However in this class I learned how to understand challenging materials as well as develop a new love for math. A highlight of this course was that it was fun as well as it made my mind work, all at the same time.

Advice for students:
Because this course has a regents, I would recommend always studying old materials and never forgetting any facts because the need to know them won't go away. I would also recommend not stressing, and studying what was learned in class everyday to understand the material. For a full experience, I suggest participating in class as the material became much easier.

This course covered your traditional trigonometry and algebra material like sine, cosine, and tangent, triangles, ratios, square roots, and cubic equations.

We learned how to rationalize the denominator, different types of numbers, imaginary numbers, etc.
