Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Algebra 2 is a very useful course! It can set you up for success for the following years of math, as well as being a master on the NYS Regents Exam.

    Course highlights:

In this course, I learned everything from addition and subtraction, to the unit circle and everything possible in between.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

One great piece of advice is to definitely review all of your notes before taking a test. Many of the problems require the same sequence of steps as the ones you may have completed in class, or for homework. Another good rule of thumb is to participate, participating in this class allows you to stay more alert and follow along with the problems and solutions.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a challenging but interesting course that always had me thinking, as well as expanding my knowledge. The math curriculum in this class was very diverse, however it all tied in together in a way that made sense.

    Course highlights:

Because this class was a common core class, it was a new way of learning, which was not easy. However in this class I learned how to understand challenging materials as well as develop a new love for math. A highlight of this course was that it was fun as well as it made my mind work, all at the same time.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Because this course has a regents, I would recommend always studying old materials and never forgetting any facts because the need to know them won't go away. I would also recommend not stressing, and studying what was learned in class everyday to understand the material. For a full experience, I suggest participating in class as the material became much easier.
