    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Great class and almost all of the teachers are great. Good material and good foundation for Regents in 10th grade.

    Course highlights:

Learned a lot about ancient civilizations. Definitely know your vocab terms and take good notes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It's mainly a vocabulary course, but work those terms into your essays.

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Would not recommend in my school because the teacher is terrible and does not teach anything related to the course.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were meeting new people and bouncing ideas off of them for problem solving.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Very easy course to take as an introduction.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great opportunity to learn more about IB and how it works. This course helps prepare you for the workload that you will receive if you take IB HOTA; it also helps to show you what would be expected of you in IB HOTA for papers and other projects.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about the more recent events in history that impacted our generation. For example, I studied the Enlightenment to the 9/11 attacks. I also really enjoyed learning about the World Wars since they had a lasting effect on the world.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study your quizzes before you have any major exams. Also, use your teacher's extra help time, it really does help you ifyou're confused on a topic. Pay attention to the people and the dates of specific events.
