Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class even though it was hard at times it was worth it. This class encouraged me to read and write a lot more then usually. I feel it was an important class for me to take because it taught me how to become a better writer which is important in Business Management and Marketing.

    Course highlights:

I would have to say the teacher was the highlight of this class! She was an amazing teacher who made the class fun. This helped me get through this class. In this class we read a few really great books and learned how important it is to read and write. Reading and writing is so important in all aspects of learning.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advise to students thinking of taking high school IB English is do not let the name discourage you. It is a bit more intense then regular English but if you have any interest in reading and writing this is the class for you. You will read a lot of books and do a lot of writing so if those are not your strong points this class wouldn't be the best for you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Desmond teaches his students how to not just analyze a piece of work but how to relate it to your own personal experiences.

    Course highlights:

I gained knowledge of literary elements that each author/playwright specified in and how stage directions effect how each moment in a scene is portrayed to the audience/reader.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course if you love reading literature/plays. Desmond does a very good job explaining each novel/play we get to read in class.
