Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was exactly what you'd expect of an IB course, but as for a language course, not so much. In IB Spanish, there isn't much focus on vocab and grammar as there was before, which I enjoyed. You really just learn about Spanish speaking countries, some stories of history, but you learn it all in Spanish.

    Course highlights:

There were a few projects I really enjoyed in this class, one was the holiday project. We all had to pick a holiday from a Spanish speaking country and present all about it. It gave me insight and taught me about other cultures. Sometimes it's truly eye-opening when learning about different places because you are able to see the contrast of lifestyles.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class, don't fool around, don't piss off the teacher. Respect the material because there's a purpose to everything learned. Understand that the grading system is the way it is as a learning tool, not as a penalty.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

This course has its difficulties but if you enjoy Spanish and its culture this class is extremely fun.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because it helps not only a students cognitive skills but receptive skills as well. As a result of taking this class, a students knowledge in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish will increase. An overall wonderful class to be a part of.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course are learning about the different Spanish cultures that exist around the world. We learned about the cultures of people in Chile, Argentina, and Venezuela. Each country is unique even though they are both united by the Spanish Language.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise a student taking this course to study as much vocab as they possibly can. Also, do not rush through assignments. Instead, take your time so you can fully understand your task, it will help you in the long run
