    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it's not like any other course I've taken before. I love how I learn about things that a re going on around the world and hear different people's opinions on certain topics.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to hand things in by the deadline and how to work with other various people in my class and coordinate on a topic. I also became more confident doing presentations in front of the class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell the students to hand in their work on time and relax when presenting in front of the class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is insightful and opens the student's eyes to a new perspective. I loved studying different types of literature from all around the world. My class and I were immersed in different cultures and point of views and provides a balanced and happy curriculum.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was being given the opportunity to read books that had been translated from different countries. This was definitely an eye-opening experience. It gave my class and I insight on how people around the globe live and the struggles they face.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise students to participate and pay attention during class discussions. The more you put into this class the more you will get out of it. Also, students should take thorough notes to help understand the material he or she is learning.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because we get to have interesting discussions and learn about the world around us from an English perspective. If someone wanted to learn about gender stereotyping in the media while also reading classics, like Shakespeare, then I would highly recommend this class.

    Course highlights:

Personally, the highlights of this course were learning how the media is almost like a bully and has power over so many people. I also liked learning about the influences of pop culture on today's youth and how that has evolved over time.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice that I would give to student considering this course is to not be shy, break out of your shell, because in this class participation really is key. Almost everyday, we have class discussions about a topic we are learning about. You must also be prepared with something to say and not just blurt things out.
