Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gives students a deeper look into the many religions of the world through the materials provided. It introduces new cultures, new traditions, and a number of other new possibilities.

    Course highlights:

One of the many highlights of this course was seeing the influence religion has on a lot of the day to day things people seek as forms of entertainment such as movies. I learned that religion is heavily involved in the world even in the simplest things.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

There are three things that can help students succeed in this course. They are having an open mind, letting go of previous assumptions, and finding a way to connect to the material for overall enjoyment.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This professor did a very thorough job teaching various world religions. He also gave an opportunity to earn extra credit by completing a hands on assignment. You would write a paper on an area of one of the religions and make a visual representation of it. For example I did mine on the Buddhist sand mandala.

    Course highlights:

I learn that many religions were more alike than I had originally thought and learned more about religions I hadn't looked into. I found Buddhism especially interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in his lecture and make sure to read the course material.
