Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This was a super fun class I am glad I am enrolled in this class. I love English and writing it is one thing I am truly good at but along with that the teacher was amazing! The teacher is by far one of the only teachers that I know of that will go over the same thing in as many different ways until you understand the topic of choice. Not only that this class gave me a huge opportunity to take a college level class without paying a huge sum of cash for it while I'm still in high school and this also gives me one less class to take my freshman year of college.

    Course highlights:

The biggest take away so far is how to approach an audience weather it be in writing or in a speech it has help teach me how to bring a sense of connection and understanding with your intended audience. I also found it very interesting when writing a close analysis essay how hard it was to do an analysis without tit being a summary. But this class help me better understand the difference and how to write each one.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE! You will fall behind very fast if you do so, just turn in your home work on time and ask questions if you are unsure of something. Oh and do not goof off when the teacher is talking or you can miss a huge important part of a chapter or section. And put sticky notes in your book so you can come back to key terms and find your homework and any other class work so you always know, and also take notes a lot of them these will help you big time through out the year.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really like this class not only because it gets it out of the way but it defiantly gets you prepared for college and is a lot cheaper to do it in high school. But all around I love this class Mrs.Bowen is a great teacher and she really help get a better understanding of what we are learning in the class each day. Just a heads up you will be great if you turn in your homework in every day! DO NOT procrastinate or you will get behind. but other than that enjoy the class and have fun!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about effective ways to reach out to your audience either in writing or by addressing them in a speech. I also learned a lot about ethos, pathos and logos as well as how to effectively write a close analysis essay about an article or any other type of informative reading.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

DO NOT PROCRASTINATE! It is not worth it. Just do the homework and turn it in on time and you will do great and also pay attention if you do not even for 2 seconds you will miss a lot of important material.
