Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Overall, this course taught me anatomies of various organisms through fun dissections and various activities to enrich the discussion. Even people who may not have a particular interest in majoring in Zoology would have a lot of fun in this course!

    Course highlights:

The highlights were essentially the dissections we did every other week. They were fun experiences, while still retaining the seriousness of the classwork and the discussions. The biggest thing I learned was that not all organisms have the same layered body cavities and are very complex for each organism, even for the simple microbes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

While the course may not require as much study as Chemistry, this course should not be taken lightly, you should still devote some time to the course work like you would any other science course. My best advice, however is to simply have fun when learning about the topic. It will only be as interesting and fascinating as you make it!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend it! This class was very interesting and engaging. It was a pleasure to go to class and learn something that i didn't know before. Learning about the different attributes of different animals was so exciting.

    Course highlights:

I learned many things about different phylums of animals. My favorite highlights were the dissection where you could see how organisms functioned.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always pay attention to the notes and read ahead. Its good to have a general idea of what you will be learning next. Hold on to previous assignments, because sometimes you have to refer back to them.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is a great course to take based on the fact that it teaches students a lot about basic reactions and can help people understand why certain chemicals react the way they do.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the periodic table of elements and about chemical reactions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention to vocabulary words. Everything in chemistry is cumulative.
