    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you want to go into the science field in the future, take this course. Otherwise, this course probably isn't meant for you.

    Course highlights:

I definitely want to go into medicine in the future. So, although it was a self-learning class, I was extremely interested in the content. Biology itself is an enticing subject to me.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You NEED to be sure to read the textbook!! That is the most important thing. Also, skim your in class notes, but they won't appear on the tests at all.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course strongly prepares you for college. The teacher provides a college-styled class where you learn from the materials she gives you and being tested on each chapter. There is minimal curve in the tests which you will see in you grade Your grade in the class will strongly reflect your AP exam score.

    Course highlights:

This AP Biology course is very similar to a college course. This class was probably the hardest class I have taken in high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study! You will not get away with prior knowledge as the tests are very in depth.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This class is perfect for students who want to challenge themselves and to prepare themselves for study habits in college. The class has a lot of work and you have to dedicate a lot of time and effort if you want to get an A. This class will also help future medical students understand the basics of their future occupations.

    Course highlights:

I learned about metabolic processes, basic chemistry, what cells do and how they are composed, ecosystems, food chains and food webs, evolution, and that every living thing on Earth is connected.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always remember to study for tests and to do your homework. The homework and classwork is very time consuming, but it is worth it in the end. If you do your work you will retain the knowledge and will do good on tests.
