    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because taking an advanced science class looks good on college application. Colleges want to see that you challenged yourself in high school. Beyond that the labs are fun and with hard work the class is completely manageable.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was the end of the year project where we had to make boats out of cardboard and masking tape and row it in a pool. Through that project we learned about buoyancy, team work, gravity, and many other physics concepts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to focus more on concepts rather than math to succeed in this course. Additionally, you need to develop good study skills. While the teacher will introduce the concept and explain it to the best of his ability you need to take charge: read the textbook, ask for tutoring, and do all the homework and labs.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend it because some students are stubborn and refuse to listen to how the teacher tells one to study for the course and that will cause one to struggle or even fail

    Course highlights:

My favorite part about taking ap physics was building a trebuchet around thanksgiving time. the project was fun but it taught us a lot about hands on learning and how that can be beneficial to ones learning experience

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students considering to take the course to think more of the concepts and listen to how the teacher tells you how to study for physics.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because I loved the teacher and actually learned a lot. Physics is a class that you will use for the rest of your life, whether you know it or not. Having a fun teacher and a fun class will make learning the subject so much easier.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course were all the hands on activities we did. These activities allow you to learn better and faster and helped me a lot. We learned all physics concepts on the base level because everything relates to something else. The labs really helped me to understand the concepts in order to excel and the next concept.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this course you need to study!!! Read the book when told to and do all homework assignments. You need to understand the concept before you move on, so if you don't understand then ask the teacher. Forming a study group will be very beneficial as well because peers can teach you something in a new way.
