    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you need trigonometry as part of your major, I would recommend this teacher. He is one of the part math professors at HCC. If you take trigonometry with Mr.Howard Joseph Vorder-Brugge, make sure you have plenty of time to study because this course has some very difficult parts in it and tests are worth 70% of your final grade.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to convert radians to degrees and what sin, cos, tan, csc, sec and cot are. I also learn how to graph trig functions. This course also covered inverse trig functions.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you have plenty of time to study and if the material still isn't clicking, go to the math lab for free tutors. I found the math lab very helpful.
