Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

You can tell Professor Krista Noren-Santmyer loves Chemistry and this passion helps to learn the material. She is very nice and always available for help.

    Course highlights:

I learned that Quantum Mechanics is very confusing! But, I found out that Chemistry has way more applications to engineering than I previously thought, thus peaking my interest a little more into higher level Chemistry.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study well as the course progresses. Chemistry concepts build on top of previous concepts and if you are weak on a certain topic, you will continue to have trouble through the rest of the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'd recommend it because it ties in with other courses such as biology and physics. Not too much, but in a broader sense.

    Course highlights:

I liked the stoichiometry, because it is the main concepts of all other chapters to find any amount of substance in something.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Remember that the teacher is there to give you the lesson of the day. It is the students job to pick up the book and learn of his/ her self.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course prepared me for the next chemistry courses that follow chemistry one. Prof. Is a great teacher and really and knows his stuff. I would highly recommend him to anyone who tends to struggle in science courses.

    Course highlights:

The periodic table was a very large topic that we covered. Hand in hand like math chemistry has a lot of formulas.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that check out ratemyprofessor.com before enrolling into the course. Make sure you have the text book as well!
