    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Borton is very passionate about the subject and is very in depth during lecture. He is always available to help and gives plenty of practice for the tests. He grades very fair and as long as you want to succeed, you will/

    Course highlights:

I learned everything there is to know about Calculus 1.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, Study, Study. Did I mention to study?

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the course is not more difficult from pre-cal. This course has new materials, the professor will help you if you have any questions, after every lecture, we all did assignment sheets to go over the new lesson in the class. We do have quizzes to take home to make us feel more familiar to the new content. Further more, the tests are predictable, they were quite similar to the quizzes, the assignments and homework which is my mathlab. the only one thing that I did not like from the professor was she goes over the new materals quite fast, so you always have to be alert.

    Course highlights:

We learnt about differentiate, basic integral, how to apply differentiate and integral into measuring the volume, the surface area of any cylinder and graphs.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to be alert because it was a two-hour class at night (5pm-7:15pm) so there were a lot of new materials in one lectures, you have to take good notes also and have to be updated with canvas, because most of her teaching materials are up there

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Remember that the teacher is only there as a guide. It is your job as a student to put in the most effort.

    Course highlights:

I liked looking at the derivatives, especially the derivatives of a trig functions. Also revolving a line about an x or y axis was very interesting too. If going in the engineering field I can think of many useful applications to it along with the area under a line.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Look for any help from the teacher, remember that he/she will be more than happy to help you compared to if you stay quiet. Also do not be afraid to ask help from other classmates, they might have picked up tricks and tips from outside help.
