    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for anyone who is interested in science. Chemistry is one of the foundations of life and of absolutely everything around us! This class is especially great because Professor Broers loves the subject and her passion is contagious!

    Course highlights:

This course was wonderful for me because it really helped to fine tune my Chem I skills, as well as build upon them and help me to understand chemistry more in general. There is more out there in this subject than I could have ever imagined and it was awesome to get to explore deeper into it. Plus Professor Broers is super sweet, funny and incredibly fair!!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Keep up with the homework and do the practice worksheets she posts online! They are great practice for the exams. Also, it is very beneficial to read the slides (if you do not read the actual chapter in the book) before coming to class. Print them out and you do not have to take as many notes, and you can focus on listening and absorbing the information.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

she didn't really get the class to participate. She mainly just went off of her power points and nothing more.

    Course highlights:

Not always monotoned. Lab course was always exciting. Test is similar to review, but you still have to go over EVERYTHING. Or otherwise be surprised by questions you all of the sudden forgot the answer to.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

group studies are highly recommended for this course, go to the success lab definitely, do NOT wait until the last minute to study
