    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it forces you to expand your mind just by simply writing and reading well written books!I read books i would neither buy or touch. I had to learn new words, and receive new literature all at the same time.

    Course highlights:

I gained from this course that the higher level of any class you take, the more you have to push yourself to be more thorough and sufficient. This was the hardest class i had my junior year, but i would not trade it for anything. This class forced me to put more knowledge and my brain, and prepare myself for more curriculum that is waiting for me. On top of that, i had a great teacher who wanted to see everyone prosper.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are going to commit to this course, fully commit! Even when it is hard you have to push through. There were many times i just wanted to give up but do not for the better sake of the people who are looking up to you and want to hear your thoughts. Study even if you feel like you do not have to and always be ready for a quiz!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a challenging course that makes you really think about literature and really improves writing skills. It came in handy with college and got me a lighter course work.

    Course highlights:

I found books and genres I'm really interested in. I also started making connections I'd never made before.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This class can be a bit overwhelming so sparknotes can be very useful. However, Murdock can be very thorough with quizzes and will ask for small details in the book. Try your best to do all the workload it'll feel great when you're actually prepared and can easily participate in class discussions.
