    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Biology is a great class to take because you earned credits for college-level science in a comfortable environment.

    Course highlights:

We got to do a lot of hands-on labs. My favorite one was when we made genetic crosses with fruit flies. It's like we learned all this information from the textbook, but then also got to delve into the information visually. I personally am a visual learner, so that helped a lot.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to study hard and do all of your work. One of the things I regret is not reading thoroughly ahead. Even if the teacher was just teaching new material, it was always better to understand before instead of just learning for the first time in class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course covers a large amount of information and is very fascinating

    Course highlights:

I earned a 5 on the AP exam and I loved the botany and muscular system units. This course was the one that really taught me how to form good study habits.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study ahead of time, a bit every day. That will make it easier in the long run and prevent cramming before a test/exam.
