Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
I believe you should only take this course if you are confident enough in your math abilities. It actaully makes you think and analyze your work to make sure it is perfected.
Course highlights:
This course was really great! you get to learn that there is more beyond the basic algebra and geometry basics you learned. I have learned that in order to actaully become good you have to pay attention and take every step. Don't do short cuts to the problem you have to actually write out the full sequence.
Hours per week:
6-8 hours
Advice for students:
Study, study, study! If you have any questions ask! it is ok to ask if you are lost, remember there's other people in the room who are if not more confused than you. Help your classmates and yourself out.
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
Course Overview:
Mr. Hrevnak has been teaching for 27 years and so he has masted calculus and teaching. Although sometimes his lessons seem like they go on forever, he is a great teacher and always very helpful.
Course highlights:
Applied Calculus is not an easy course, but as a student taught by Mr. Hrevnak, the information presented in the course is a lot more understandable. Mr. H does plenty of practice problems and always has great notes. Even if you need help after that, he is always free to help you.
Hours per week:
3-5 hours
Advice for students:
I would just tell students to do the homework he assigns. Like any math course, practice makes perfection.
