    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Honors biology is a difficult course, there is no mistake about that. It teaches a basic form of learning. Honors biology gives the general rundown of all the important parts of the ecosystem and the theory of evolution. The course goes into detail about important processes and cycles such as cellular respiration, photosynthesis, the nitrogen cycle, and reproduction. At Egg Harbor Township High School, freshman learn biology. Afterwards, students have more variety of sciences to take. Honors biology definitely is a solid foundation for all other sciences.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the cell cycle and the different stops and check points all cells strive to go through. It was interesting because there are so many ways that a cell can steer away and go wrong by small changes. I learned that nature does not strive for perfection, and there is no end point. Something always goes differently and learning the reasons why and how is fascinating.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Manage study time as much as possible. When studying, review the material little by little everyday, not the day before the test! Biology is not a subject to procrastinate on; it cannot be learned in one night.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is not for everyone. It is an honors course ,therefore it is presented at an accelerated level that challenges many people. It is not a class that anyone should take lightly.

    Course highlights:

I learned the ins and outs of biology using creative and fun methods. I learned that biology is one of the most complex subjects there are in high school due to the fact that it encompasses so many different areas.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed, you need to not be discouraged at the beginning. The beginning is always the hardest, getting grades you never thought you could make. Stick out the class to the end and it'll be worth it.
