    Course Overview:

    I had a great experience in this class and felt as though I learned a lot that prepared me for future English classes.

    Course highlights:

    It really teaches students to "explode moments" within their writing and to write in immense detail. It also thoroughly teaches student about word parts.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure to really study your vocab words and to be persistent when working on new writing styles.

    Course Overview:

    Honors English prepared my peers and I for future AP courses, made us more interested in literature than we previously were, and forced us to delve deeper than what the surface meaning of things are. It's the first real opportunity one has to fully submerge themselves in all types of literate while also developing college level skills.

    Course highlights:

    The highlights of this course were studying poetry, new novels, creating our OWN poetry, and experiencing the college-prep feel. To this day, novels like The Tale of Two Cities and To Kill a Mockingbird, are some of my favorite pieces, both read in Honors English.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    To be successful in this course, one really have to devote time and energy into getting involved in the curriculum, and truly trying to enjoy it. One must also prioritize their time, as this is the beginning of lif One must also prioritize their time, as this is the essential to success not only in this class, but future classes to come.

    Course Overview:

    English 10 is a basic course that everyone should take. English class is only going to get harder from here. The class is fun and we get to do a lot of cool and exciting activities. The number of essays is low. The vocabulary tests are a bit difficult but all you need to do is study for a few minutes every night. English 10 is a fun course.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot about shakespeare.I also learned a lot of new vocab words that I use on a daily basis. I learned how to make a proper essay and paragraph for a paper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Study at least ten minutes every night, if you really need help just ask. Try to be a little social in class and listen. Read your books on time and don't complain.
