Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course too other students. We have done many socratic seminars and engaged in activities that were different than the past. My teacher is different than other teachers I have had during my high school career.

    Course highlights:

Mrs. Pallis has pushed us and challenged us to think more about culture and identity and the social norms. My teacher teaches us things that we can apply to our life outside of high school. One of the highlights of this course would be when we went on a trip to the Newark Museum. We were able to get out of school and learn about the Indian culture. It was more of an interactive experience.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell any student interested in this course that they should stay on top of any work that they have. I would also tell any student that they should ensure that they read all of their books and take part in the socratic seminars.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher makes class very interesting. From socratic seminars to a class short story. She really cares and helps her students do better and really works wth us not only for her subject but life lessons.

    Course highlights:

I would have to say the highlights of this course would have to be the socratic seminars. You really get to see all of your classmates point of view. Some may differ from yours but it gives you a new outlook on the specific topics.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared and be ready to be independent. You will not be reminded everyday when something is due. At times you'll have to read your independent reading book and assigned book in two weeks and have a paper due on both on the same day. Really prepares you for college.
