    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course to everyone, including people who are not interested in the medical field. However, the student must be willing to apply themselves and study. This class is tough but very worth it. This class prepares you for college more than any other CP course you will take. It helps you discover yourself as a student and what type of techniques work for you to help study.

    Course highlights:

This class teaches you terms used in everyday life. It is easier to understand a Doctor's diagnosis at doctors appointments, as well as what a cancerous growth looks like. You learn all the systems in the body. This course can benefit athletes because you learn where muscles are located and the actions of each muscle. You go even deeper as to learning how these muscles contract. You learn the effects of "carb loading" and the proper way to prepare yourself for a competition or game. This is just a few examples.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You must be prepared to study. This class is not designed to hurt your GPA. It is meant to help you discover yourself as a student and a human being inside and out. Homework is not meant to be completed just to receive points, it is meant to help you study. Without understanding the homework it benefits you in less ways than good. There are times the teacher may require your homework to be done but may not take a grade on it. You get the grade during the test. You can pick out the students who have done their homework and actively participate in class from the ones who copied the homework from a site online before class started.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Chemistry is a basic unit of understanding the world we live it. You learn the components that all living things are made of. You will be assigned labs and group activities that are very enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

Learning compounds, elements, data collection, analysis, and much more. I learned how to separate solids from a mixtures using different tests.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared for a lot of work, and be prepared to study. This is not a class you can take without understanding the basics.
