Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

If you like math this is the course for you. Calculus BC has all the gritty hard math work that AB does, but it allows for a lot more review which helps to understand the material better. The preparation for the AP test is phenomenal in BC because of all the time there is to review. If you didn't get the score you wanted on AB, then you could easily get a better AB sub score when you take the BC exam. And after you take the AP exam, there is a fun project that uses both the AB and BC classes and really forces you to apply the knowledge you have learned to real world situations.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot a lot a lot about Calculus. This was a very extensive course and had a lot of material. I nailed the ins and outs of the AP exam we did a ton of studying for that it and was super helpful. I learned a lot of new abilities that graphing calculators could do and learned a lot about those.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A good math brain and a graphing calculator. Determination as well because most likely you won't understand concepts right of the bat as they aren't very easy so you need to stick with it. Lots of practice really ingrains the process' for solving certain problems. Being calculator affluent definitely helps although you will go through a lot of practice with using the calculator.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher was great and helped explain everything he taught to the full extent. The course load was not too much, I would say the homework amount was fugly preparing us for exams.

    Course highlights:

This class really helped me understand word problems. I would HIGHLY recommend this class to anyone who is not planning on going the calculus route.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You really need a good understanding in your basic algebra skills. I would go back and dig through old homework from previous math classes such as Algebra 1 and start to re-teach yourself some of the basic concepts.
