    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Vest was a great teacher. If you struggled, all you had to do is ask, and she would assist you. She answered all my questions and was exceedingly patient. She even held extra study sessions if you still didn't get it. I really liked her teaching style and effort to help everyone get it.

    Course highlights:

I learned about bonds and chemical reactions. Mrs. Vest was especially insistent on learning basic chemical compounds. We also learned math which has continued to be useful in the following years in both math and science. I liked the experiments and enjoyed the hands-on experience that seems so hard to get in public schools.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Ask questions whenever you don't understand. Mrs. Vest was good about helping if you put forth the effort. Do your best and don't give up. Focus especially on the Summer work because there will be a test on it, and practice the basics and formulas often because they follow throughout the entire course. Learn, don't just regurgitate.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it, because it provides great experience and eye opening knowledge into related fields.

    Course highlights:

The mix between book learning and experiments was very nice and made everybody understand the information when it was hands on.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely do the homework when given to you.
