    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It may be a hard course, but overall I’d say it is helping me with my potential standardized testing. A lot of people complained about this class, but with enough effort put forth, the class can be a good experience.

    Course highlights:

Being able to work on any non-exam with partners really opened the class up. I got to work with people I never knew before. Having an extra brain to pick helps with understanding as well.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Skim through notes ahead of time. It’s better to relearn things rather than learn them for the first time. It also never hurts to see the teacher one on one. She is always free and is a much more thorough when asked directly.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is a great introduction to Biology in general and will prepare you for upcoming courses in Biology that you plan to take in the future.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the basics in Biology. I also preformed many labs that were relevant to the topics that we covered in the course. The course handles many topics from how the world was formed to the structure of DNA and the central dogma or biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study your notes and make sure to ask questions on the lecture itself. This course is based on the factual and small details that are in the notes so make sure you know how everything fits in together in relative to Biology.
