    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The English course i'm taking is a college class, so i would definitely recommend due to the fact that your saving money for your future years in college considering this is about 100 dollars cheaper now than what you would be paying in college. Another positive thing about this course would be gaining college credits now so you don't have to take the same class in you're first year of college.

    Course highlights:

Highlights of this course would include being able to learn things and get a chance to correct them now before i have to do them next year without having a chance to correct the basics. This gives me a head start for my freshman year in college.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Some advise I would give students considering this course would be to apply and engage yourself into this class. The teacher might give you a tiny assignment but the teacher is giving you the assignment for a reason. The way you take in the knowledge and facts you are given throughout class, is how well you will do in this class and how you will do in the future.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There is a few heavy reading assignments, as well as major writing pieces, that you'll have to complete on top of setting up your senior portfolio for the end of the school year. Overall, it's a lot of work, and if you don't have the time or the interest in the subject to commit to it, you will struggle. However, when you do the work and participate in the class discussions, it can be an enjoyable experience, and some of the books (Frankenstein, The Kite Runner) are extremely interesting reads.

    Course highlights:

You spend a lot of time focusing on literary criticisms, as well as how to annotate and pick apart different kinds of text from different time periods, and from different authors.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Bring your notebook and a pencil to class every day, do the reading, and don't skimp on the writing assignments. Those count a lot, and if you need any help at all, make sure you go and see your teacher at your earliest convenience.
