Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Such an interesting course that will provide you with knowledge you will be able to use for the rest of your life.

    Course highlights:

I cannot say enough good things about this class: Mrs. Pastoressa is such a good teacher, she really keeps students motivated and interested (even the ones with chronic senioritis). There isn't one "boring" subject, and as long as you study hard, you are guaranteed a 5 on the exam.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study! The textbook truly is your best friend. If you are not a textbook person, I suggest watching youtube videos on each chapter.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is one of the most interesting courses I have taken throughout high school. Many people do not understand the mind and the way it functions. With this course, it will show you the way it works, the disorders people may have, and the perception of the world through someone else's eyes.

    Course highlights:

The high lights of the course were learning about memory because in reality, there is so much that the mind can take in and revive. I learned that there are three different 2 different types of memories with three different types of encoding to remember it in your brain and mind.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

For an individual taking this course, you need to not only study the notes that the teacher provides, but also the information in the textbook. Also, do not wait until last minute to study for a test. The best way to study by the spacing effect, which is studying twenty-thirty minutes every night instead of an hour the night before because your mins will not retain all the information, if any.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great engaging class and allows people to be social in class that would otherwise be quite reserved.

    Course highlights:

I love the demos we do in class with volunteers because it is great to see what we learn about being used in real life situations. I learned an array of things involving the body, especially the brain, and how it interacts with the environment aroung us.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Begin studying for a test, which is usually two chapters worth of material, one week in advance for about 30 minutes to an hour a day. This increases the amount of material retention and betters your chances of doing well on tests and will eventually help with the AP test.
