    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I'm not usually good at math but this class helped me improve my math skills a great deal. I went from barely passing the final with the curve to getting a 95 on the AP calc final!

    Course highlights:

The note taking was the best. It was set up like a visual learners dream, we drew pictures to help better understand what was happening, we had notebook check that were counted as a grade so it was impossible not to stay on top of each subject.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Please! Take notes! Draw pictures! Most importantly, put in the extra time to ask your teacher questions or find solutions online that better suit the way you learn. Study A LOT. do practice problem after practice problem until the hardest problem you've ever faced is like common knowledge to you. And definitely don't miss the opportunity to snag some extra credit! Stay consistent, have a study routine and you will get by just fine.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think everyone should take higher level math courses in Highschool because for those who think you may not use the information this class will definitely teach you why we need this in our lives today.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot. The vast majority of formulas taught in this course are the basics of a student doing their taxes on a spreadsheet.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

How do you eat an elephant? One piece at a time and know that when the going gets rough take a seat back and breathe because you aren't the only one going through it.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a good course, although rigorous with a great teacher who is willing to work with students and works hard to get them to understand the material. It will teach you what you need to know for calculus successfully.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of trig and problem solving skills.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the material daily, even if you think that you know it, ensure that you look over it in order to gain full understanding and commit the information to knowledge.
