    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mrs Bransford was an amazing teacher and I learned more from her than any other core teacher I have ever had.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write essays and analyze all types of writings, as well as understand many other things. My vocabulary nearly doubled after her course.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This course requires time, effort, and a drive to make yourself better. I did not regret taking AP English 3 or 4, it was one of the best things I've done for myself in high school.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course focuses on increasing our knowledge of classic literature and its history. Not only that, but we were able to develop essay-writing skills and rhetorical devices.

    Course highlights:

During this course, we had done projects on Beowulf -- dissecting the inner workings of the Anglo-Saxon writing and even focusing on Medieval pieces of literature.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

When going into this course, I recommend that you pay attention and not toss it to the side like others have. It's rather important that you review background information on any reading you are currently on in the course and terms that are unfamiliar to you.
