    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Unlike previous English courses, this course was the most enjoyable because it was filled with class discussions that allowed instó voice their opinion

    Course highlights:

Ap Lang. really helped me polish my essay writing skills and taught me that when reading a book, one should look beyond the surface of just the plot.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

I recommend students to take this course because it prepares you for English 101 and 102 by giving you the tools you need to succeed in those classes. It's also lots of fun.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I took this class my junior year and I learned more about writing and grammar then my entire schooling career.

    Course highlights:

Writing, which is such a valuable skill, and Mr. Pogreba teaches a large range of skills just in the writing department. This includes timed writes and essays that will be necessary in college.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen and take his advice, he really does know what hes doing. The class is a huge time commitment and there is a very large amount of writing, probably more then what you are expecting.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The class is the only reason I feel confident enough to write in college. Without Pogreba, I would still be writing at a high school freshman level.

    Course highlights:

The class taught me everything from rhetorical analysis to how to use that rhetoric in my own essays. I learned how to write a high level essay.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always keep up on the reading and always annotate correctly. Also, do not save essays for the last minute, do the first draft in one sitting early on and then revise in increments throughout the week.
