Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is extremely applicable to other things in life and it is an interesting class with a fun and involved teacher. This class involved lots of essay writing, but through that I learned to become a better, more mature writer and broadened my vocabulary tremendously.

    Course highlights:

This class taught me tricks and tips to use when writing essays, as well as how to use language to persuade people to see things in the way I see them. It also taught me proper sentence structure and proper MLA citation requirements.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important to do your work on time! This is an advanced course, so the teacher is not going to be lenient on late work like other teachers may be. Apart from that, this class really allows you to state and defend your opinions on lots of controversial topics so take that and really get all that you can from it. Learn to appreciate the ways this class lets you express yourself.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because AP Language is a class that requires you to analyze every piece of literature you read. The teacher is highly embedded in her teachings and determined to help each of her students succeed in and out of her class. She is fully involved in the novels she uses to teach techniques and helps develop a rounded environment in her classroom.

    Course highlights:

I learned to fully anlyze literature and now know how to quickly recognize techniques in writing. I know how to affectively write essays and clearly manipulate given excerpts in a way to efficiently prove a theory.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is only helpful when you incorporate yourself and increase your willingness to learn. The course may seem difficult, but you must only study to better your chances at having a high grade. When you read in and out of class, take extra time to dive in to the text and recall different techniques in finding literary devices.
