Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a fantastic course with very interesting content. There were very few "boring" lectures and the class had a surprising low amount of required outside work.

    Course highlights:

I really enjoyed learning about human tendencies and how our minds work. There was a lot of information that I didn't previously know and it was all interesting in different ways.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always study your notecards and learn the definitions word for word.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP psychology was an incredible class for me to take. The riveting curriculum enticed me to look into neuroscience as a future career. Further, the class was enjoyable, interesting, and applicable to me daily.

    Course highlights:

We learned basic human psychology, along with the anatomy and physiology for the main parts of the brain. We learned about cognition, learning, social psychology, abnormal psychology, and the the different theories of psychology. For me, the highlight of the class curriculum was the abnormal physiology section because it was the most interesting.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To succeed in the class, a student needs to take detailed notes of the chapter in the book and make flashcards of the vocab. And the student should pay close attention to the teacher during lectures, and the student can apply the lesson to thier life, which helps them understand the concept much more.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I love this class!! It has a twist on what you learn in "social studies" where you actually learn about yourself and others unlike about history from ages in the past.

    Course highlights:

It taught me so much about the mind, growing up in the brain and different disorders that I wouldn't have been thinking of in the first place. I learned so many new words and definitions that it helped me improve my vocabulary.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study your vocabulary words in the book and make a study sheet or a Quizlet to help learn.
