    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to anyone who is ready to take on a vigorous yet satisfying class in the animal field. It prepares a passionate student with hands on labs and a heavy work load. It allows students to fully comprehend what it is like to have fun with these furry creatures, and at the same time, clean up after them and make sure all is kept sanitary and safe.

    Course highlights:

This course was two years long at an hour and a half per day. It was broken down into about 8 different sections where I learned things like basic safety regulations, nutrition, anatomy, hands on care, and medical terms and procedures. Not only did I read and research all of these things, but it was turned into a hands on class where we could truly put our skills to the test.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell future students to study hard and put passion and good work ethic into all that they do. To show you love something and care for it truly makes a difference in the work you put out there, and any teacher will notice that.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is amazing course for someone looking for a jump start in the animal career field! It is hands on and gives students a feel for what they will experience in their future careers!

    Course highlights:

I learned about animal nutrition, how to properly clean and care for our animals, and even how to vaccinate a cow! One of my favorite things was even being able to watch the new born calves take some of their first steps.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Work hard and study! This is a college level course so the work load is not easy. But if this is a field you truly want to be in, the work will be entirely worth it and satisfying when finished.
