Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was a great basic psychology class that covered a lot to get you into more advanced psychology classes. Mr. Walters made it fun and easy, balancing your tedious paper work to videos about the topics you're learning about.

    Course highlights:

We learned everything from the history of psychology to how mental illness affects a persons day to day life in detail. My favorite part of the class was learning about the Milgram experience and how the people "shocking" felt like they weren't responsible.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go back to what learned when doing the paper work, it helps you understand it a lot better, and ask questions. Mr. Walters is easy to talk to and very friendly, his answers always cleared it up for me.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

In Advanced Placement Psychology, we delved into the concepts of the mind and motivation, development, and personality, which helps students to discover their own values, unconscious memories, and interpretations of dreams.

    Course highlights:

Through textbooks, lectures, and documentaries, we learned the biology and sociology of the mind, including how the theories of psychological measurement and testing has developed over the centuries.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to keep up with the reading and assignments on the day of the lecture pertaining the material, because it will help students to understand the material and to study over time rather than cramming the night before the test.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The class is entertaining, but the teacher also does a great job of teaching the course material. He doesn't assign any other work besides vocabulary (and most if not all of it can be done in class).

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course are that you get to learn about the brain and human behavior in interesting ways. Lectures are never long and the teacher always makes them enjoyable. We watch videos often and they are usually very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the vocabulary that is assigned. It may seem annoying, but most of the AP exam asks vocabulary related questions, so they are important to know.
