    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

An immense amount of information must be covered for the AP test, and this course not only covers all the information in a sane, reasonable manner but its tests are rigorous enough for students to feel at ease on the actual test.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the teacher's expert ways of explaining information to students in a unique, logical, and efficient manner. I learned multiple ways to study efficiently such as by drawing diagrams of biochemical pathways or by discussing extensively with my peers.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The class itself is not a lot of course load, but it's still recommended to avoid procrastination. Tests are heavily weighted, so make sure that you have enough sleep before each test and practice using a prep book with AP style practice problems.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

First of all you must be interested in biology to be able to survive the course, but otherwise the class was very fun, especially the labs, and it was a good challenge level.

    Course highlights:

The labs were definitely a highlight, and just learning the material which was really interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't try to study the night before, because there is a ton of material to read.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course taught me so much about both biology and life. I learned life lessons such as time management and how to study smart instead of hard. The lessons I learned in that classroom will stick with me even after college.

    Course highlights:

This course taught me everything I needed to know for the AP test as well as many different life lessons that I will never forget. The teacher was always willing to help and through this class, I discovered my passion for biology.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

This class requires you to stay on top of everything and keep reviewing past material. This course is extremely cumulative and just remembering everything in that specific unit will not get you a good grade.
