Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think that it's a great first step to actual English courses in college because Mrs. Marino teaches like a college professor. I can already see my writing improving and my grades improving.

    Course highlights:

The class mainly prepared me for real English classes in college. My writing has really improved and I feel more confident in an English class and in my personal writing.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to what the teacher tells you. If she tells you to write a certain way, write that certain way. Don't just write about what you please, because it will not only cost you in this class, it will cost you big time in college.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who is interested in improving their writing skills. Mrs. Marino has helped me to understand the correct way to write an essay without being repetitive and she has taught me how to personalize my essays without losing professionalism.

    Course highlights:

Within the short amount of time that I have taken this class, I have already learned so many tips and tricks that I know will help me grow as a writer. Mrs. Marino helped the class by keeping it interesting and informative. I used some of the tips she taught us on my standardized tests and never felt so confident walking out of a test room.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest finishing your essays a few days before the due date. Since writing essays is the bulk of this class, falling behind is never easy to come back from. Due dates always seem further so getting ahead of the game is extremely beneficial.
