Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class overall has been a pleasant experience learning how to thoroughly address the common literacy mistakes students tend to make. As an introductory course for English, it sets the textbook aside and works hands on, where students can truly capture the learning experience.

    Course highlights:

The course may be writing heavy, but it is what students need to create a passionate and professional palette in writing and literacy. The real highlight is being able to work in a knowledgeable environment with constant practice and learning.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not be afraid to present your writing to the class and be open for improvement. Writing is extremely important regardless of your major. Whenever you are timed in an essay and given a choice between topics, choose the topic which relies on facts and real life concerns, not personal experiences. Whenever you think about a topic that requires your story, you tend to become hesitant on whether you have too much or too little information, therefore, cutting down the time you have short. Time management and practice is the key to writing essays.
