    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This reading list for this course glides over many different topics and you will definitely run into a book or a few books that you fall in love with. This course is about acing the mechanics and sets you up for amazing writing for the rest of your life.

    Course highlights:

This ended up being one of my favorite classes in high school and made me fall even deeper in love with the english language. I felt my writing abilities enhance tremendously and I am no longer afraid of starting essay projects thanks to the structure I learned. Another plus is that Edwards is possibly one of the most creative teachers I have ever happened upon. This is vital in balancing out the formality and structure of this mechanically course. She cares deeply and immensely about her students and if you need proof of this she will gladly show you tactile proof of her love with doodles and messages! She has become a great friend of mine which served important for my confidence in writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of your deadlines and stay passionate. You will benefit from building a relationship with your teacher so do it! She will gladly help you in anyway she can.
