Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP literature expands the way one thinks critically. It emphasizes the work of authors and composers. One can learn how to create similar works by fully understanding the reasons behind strategies used in pieces of literature. Deeper understanding also creates better reading habits.

    Course highlights:

I have learned that the strategies used by author defines his or her persona. As well as there are different ways to interpret writing and that is okay. Not everyone may see it the way you do but that is the beauty of the writing. You can make it what you love by just incorporating your views .

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Expose yourself to new reading even if you think you will not enjoy it because just the exposure creates a reading identity. By understanding what it is you like or don't, you can impact your own writing style. Old and modern style writing have different strategies and it is important to be familiar with both.
