    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Medical interventions gives you a very good insight on where you want to be in the medical field and more detail on how medicine is always advancing.

    Course highlights:

I learned how vaccinations work and how they are made, how DNA works in the body, and more detailed versions of anatomy. The highlight of this course was when we looked at how bacteria can become antibiotic resistant.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

My advise would be to keep up with the class, although it is a slower pace, there is more information in every segment. If you get behind there is almost time to catch up on what you missed beforehand.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

College Chem is an absolutely fantastic class - it makes you think, but you are able to understand a great deal about how the world works at the molecular level. Additionally, Mrs. Miller actually teaches the class very thoroughly and clearly, which is uncommon for College Chem professors.

    Course highlights:

I learned how chemical bonding really works, the true meaning of the words 'acid' and 'base', how to read ingredient labels intelligently, and WAY more. If you pay attention, the class actually has a lot of material that is applicable to understanding daily phenomena. And again, you learn how the molecular world really works as well.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

DO WHAT MRS. MILLER TELLS YOU, AND YOU WILL EASILY GET AN A. If she gives you study papers, DO THEM ALL. If she recommends book problems, DO THEM ALL. She asks you to pay attention during class and literally walks you through everything you need to know - people fail the class and say it's "impossible" because they do not pay attention and utilize their teacher, and her study resources, as they should.
