Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's very difficult to learn how to write essays in this class, so make sure to practice essays on your own time. Other than that, it was very interesting to learn about America's troubled past.

    Course highlights:

Some of the major highlights of this course were that you were able to develop your own study habits and find out your leaning style.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read a part of the chapter for at least 30 minutes a night.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Hibbs makes this class really interesting and creates an atmosphere that keeps you engaged. The work load is moderate/difficult but really makes you learn the material. With this class you should have no problem passing the AP test.

    Course highlights:

Mr. Hibbs was probable the most memorable thing about the course, because he is really funny and wants to get to know you as a person. Aside from that, he really knows what he's talking about when it comes to history. I learned everything about America from colonization to 9/11, which is really cool knowledge to have.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Time management is key with this course. Expect a half hour to an hour of notes each night. It seems tedious, but you really will learn the material. Also, start studying for the AP test earlier than you think you need to!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course! U.S. History is not as daunting as World History, but with this teacher it was easy to understand and the stress level was lessened greatly. I appreciate her dearly for making it such a relaxed environment.

    Course highlights:

My personal highlight was at the end of year, where we were given a project to cover an aspect of U.S. History that interested us. It was very open ended and a lot of students got creative, making videos, books and the like.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't panic! History isn't as boring as everyone claims, and if you do the reading you will be perfectly fine.
