Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Ms. Byrne is a teacher who helps everyone succeed. She is one of the best teachers I've had.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the final grades of the class. I didn't expect to have such high grades in such a challenging class. We learned a little of everything in biology.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your homework, stay after, ask questions. Don't be afraid to ask questions if you don't understand something.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

At first you defiantly wondering what the heck did I get myself into?! Throughout the year I struggled at grasping certain concepts due to the people in my class, but Ms.Byrne is super approachable and will help you with anything you need. She's always willing to stay after and help you. Throughout the year I received 70-80's on all the tests, but she prepares you more for the SAT2 aspect of it. In the end I got a 95 on the regents to my complete surprise. Ms.Byrne is also a all-around awesome person.

    Course highlights:

The basis of biology are the 8 main basic life functions and building off of all of them throughout the year.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

NEVER be afraid to either speak up in class or seek help from Ms.Byrne. Also, ALWAYS attend the review classes, she usually gives out multiple hints about what is going to be on the test which is a huge advantage. Plus on top of that she usually brings food.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learn so much in Ms. Byrne's Honors Bio class. It was tough, but I left the course with a good understanding of the material. I ended up with a 100 on the regents and a 770 on the SAT 2.

    Course highlights:

I learned so much about the workings of the body and how all of the human body's functions work, down to the tiniest molecules. Then I learned how the organisms supported by these functions fit into the world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to Ms. Byrne for help. If you ask, she'll sit you down and go through it all bit by bit. For tests she organizes big out of school reviews. Go to them, it is super helpful and she usually brings food.
